This .45 ACP ammunition from CCI’s Blazer series delivers cost effective target shooting for 1911s and a variety of other pistols in this popular caliber. Each round in this bulk priced case of 1,000 fires a 230 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 845 feet per second, producing typical .45 Auto ballistics along with heavy but controllable recoil.
Blazer ammunition is distinguished by its non-reloadable aluminum cases. These cases are not reusable but cost significantly less than Boxer-primed brass, making them a great choice for high volume range use.
CCI ammo is loaded in Lewiston, Idaho using the company’s own primers, which are known for their high reliability. These rounds use non-corrosive Berdan primers.

The ballistics are middle of the pack The aluminum shells will sometimes over-expand in the chamber and cause some extraction difficulty. They seem to shoot fine in my Kimber 1911. The price is great! If you are trying them for the first time in an auto-load, I’d suggest buying a small box first to verify feed.

What is everyone talking about when they say this stuff stinks? I have not had any issues with this ammo, and neither has my grand parents. Blazer has been around for as long as I can remember and has not misfied or failed to extract once in my experiences. Even while breaking in my new kahr 45, after the last 200 rounds=flawless.

My only problem with this non reloadable ammunition is that little bits of aluminum shavings wind up in your pistol. This can’t be a good thing, can it?
Dave –
I also have had zero problems with this round. I’ve fired 500-600 rounds through my M1911 Colt and I can remember one jam. I’ve done literally NO better with the more expensive rounds. Two thumbs up here, folks!

I’ve used Blazers quite a bit, because of their low cost. I experienced my first dislike of the ammo after shooting this weekend. I shot about 300 rounds out of my Taurus Millenium, and after about 200 rounds, I noticed that I was getting covered in black ashy residue from the rounds. When I broke down the gun to clean it, the gun was gummed up and did not want to come apart. This was the first time this ever happened to me. Of course, I blame myself for not cleaning it after every 100 rounds, or at least wiping it down. Usually I’ll shoot about 100 rounds with no issues. Great ammo, and great service from bulkammo.com.

Have put over 1000+ rounds through my baby eagle and have yet had any issues. These are also one of the least expensive ammo to buy.

I go through a case a week and find the ammo reliable and consistant which is important in high performance training.
Rodger K –
Good ammo for the money. I have two 1911s both eat this ammo with no problems.

Just finished shooting 2,000 rounds through my custom cdp ii, not one malfunction. Great ammo, will buy again.

High $$$ 1911 – Consistent performance & cleaner than expected, and satisfied with 4/1000 minor jambs. In comparison, this gun eats ammo: 1000’s of re-manufactured brass FMJ rounds(only from the right places) to steel casing self-defense rounds without any issues. Same Blazer round in brass, not one issue in 1000+. It is the casing (AL).
A loved and pampered “not out of the box” 9 or 45 Glock – What can I say, they eat sand or slop! An “out of the box” Glock – 2/~1000 improper seating of the round, so no boom.
Out of Box, average pistol price, for occasional shooter – You will have jambs with (AL) casing, and will struggle when spring gets plenty of rounds on them (especially compacts). New spring will likely ram it home first 500+. I recommend same round in brass.
I agree, good range ammo.

500+ rds shot today at the range, used S&W M&P 45 and Springfield XD45. No issues with either weapon, no FTF or FTE. Good range ammo, will definately order more in the future as I would like to stock up as much as possible when the price is right. Cant speak to the cleanliness of the ammo since I am going to strip the guns down tomorrow. As far as accuracy well its a handgun so its all about how steady your aim is.

My Thompson and govt. 45 go through the rounds, with no issues

This is fine ammo, never a ftf. I have run 1000 rounds thru my glock 36, and several hundred thru my 1911. This ammo is good to have on hand.

Fast delivery & I live on the West coast. Great product and I will be a forever return customer. Not one misfire in 1000 rounds.
Pablo –
I train with nothing else. Many ranges only allow non-metallic ammo, so having a large supply of CCI aluminum is critical.
Note: when you shoot regularly with this ammo, be prepared to clean your firearm after every session. Not as dirty as Tula, but still leaves residue.

Bought these for a couple days of “plinking” with my Glock 21. Fast service, great price, and 1000 rounds successfully down range and on target without a single issue. The aluminum cases are also easier to see in the grass than brass which made it easier for us to clean up at the end of the day.

Use this in my .45 and 380. Does the job, no problems in either one. Like all other ammo though, prices keep going up.

put some of these rounds through my new XD .45 and hade no issues what so ever. Love blazer ammo, shoots good, shoots straight, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I would and will buy more of this ammo in the future.

This is excellent range ammo. I put several hundred rounds through my Glock 21 with good results. This is reliable, accurate, and clean stuff for a nice price. No malfunctions of any kind. Get it while you can.

no problems with the ammo I like the blazer brand a lot

Bought 1000 rounds to break in me and my wife’s new 1911.
The ammo shot fine, only had a few issues. One case didn’t have the rib cut at the base to eject it but still shot. Expect to have a dirty gun after this ammo.
Wouldn’t hesitate to buy more, neither should you.

Love the ammo, super reliable, has a nice weight, my GLOCK did not had a single jam or stovepipe, no missfire after about 200 rounds, good deal.Clean ammo. Will definitely buy again. Customer service is awesome and you can track your package while it is en route. Definitelly a winner.

I’ve gone through 500 rounds of the Amunition. Not a single FTF or FTE… This is very excellent Ammunition for the price. Runs a little dirty but I clean every hundred rounds so no big deal. Well that is as long as I’m not firing more than a hundred rounds at one time.

I fired 1,000 rounds through my XDM45 without a jam. What else is there to know? great price too.
Dave –
Good clean ammo at the best price I found. Prompt delivery. Will use them again for my next order.

Fires flawless without any problems in my Sig 220 and Hk UPS Elite. I just hope that this company can find a way to ship to California. I like their service and their prices.
