Take ’em out
Kickin’ up dust, make ’em jump and shout
We’re not exactly sure what .38 Special is telling us to take out in their song “Take ‘Em Out.” Could it have been cans, bottles, and other plinking targets? If so then they’d wholly approve of this cartridge from Winchester’s USA line of ammunition. It is not only named after them, but would let them take out any kind of target they pleased — and affordably, to boot.
This round has got a 130 grain bullet, which is relatively light for its caliber and accordingly generates less recoil as you’re perfecting your aim. The bullet’s full metal jacket will keep your bore cleaner and your pistol more accurate as the result, and its flattened point is especially suitable for paper targets given its tendency to punch a satisfyingly clean hole through them.
Winchester is just as American as Southern rock itself. They’ve been in the game long enough to be able to give shooters quality casings, primers, and propellant, even if they’re in one of their economical white boxes!

I’ve used this ammo for practice and personal use a lot over the years as a former LEO. You can’t go wrong with Winchester of any kind.

Frankly I needed this ammo quickly so I ordered it with another order because I knew Bulk Ammo would get it to me quickly…and they did. It shoots okay (a little dirty for me) for the few rounds I have put down range. I usually shoot 15 round mags weapons at the range.

Manufacture supply (chain) and demand obviously impact on price per round.
However, being that the .38 special cartridge is perhaps nearly as popular and in-demand as the 9mm, defies logic that it is priced 3-times that of 9mm target ammo.
This cartridge can be reloaded in either target or +P for about 1/3 of the current new purchase cost, which only tells us something about current material costs. The 9mm is obviously going to be a better choice if you like to shoot and not break the budget, however, the simplicity and reliability of the revolver may justify the price of ammo.

Bought this ammo to target shoot. Happy with the results. Price is good and shipping costs is fair. Fair meaning that it is what we should pay. Will buy more when I need it. Pleased with how the ammo was packaged.
