Magtech’s .40 S&W load is ideal for target shooting and
range practice. The round fires a 180-grain full metal jacket projectile at a
muzzle velocity of 990 feet per second. This combination results in normal ballistic
performance at pistol ranges with slightly gentler recoil than the .40 Smith
& Wesson is typically known for. If you like shooting for extended, high
round count sessions or simply experience recoil sensitivity, this load might
be a good choice.
Magtech is known for producing reliable, inexpensive
ammunition perfect for the needs of high volume shooters. The company behind
Magtech brand ammo, CBC, is a Brazilian firm that has been in business for over
80 years. CBC uses fully modernized manufacturing methods combined with a
traditional vertically integrated business model to produce top-quality
products. By making its own primers, propellant, and bullets, the company
retains maximum control over its ammo. A heavily automated final assembly
facility enables CBC’s machine operators to churn out large quantities of
cartridges with high precision.

Iv been using Magtech FMJ for a while now and I must say, I love the results. It never rammed my gun and it hits your target dead on. It does not leave a mess of gun power in your gun. I recommend this to anyone.

Great cheap ammo to qualify with

I generally don’t shoot many guns designed after about 1911 or so, but I’ve used a great deal of Magtech .45 Colt ammo in the past. I finally purchased a .40 S&W Beretta Storm for concealed carry, and figured I’d try the Magtech brand for FMJ practice rounds. Very little fouling, extremely reliable, no jams, and from my minimal experience shooting the .40 S&W, pretty darned accurate. Based on both price and quality, I’d recommend Magtech and BulkAmmo.com to anyone.

Used Magtech before for .45acp; same reliability in .40s&w. No jams, good accuracy. Great service from Bulkammo.

Great brand from BulkAmmo. I have bought in the past and will continue to purchase as long as the results continue with what I have experienced in the past.

Bought 5 boxes and shot it through a XD40 that up until today never had a single feed problem and a M&P 40. Very smokey ammo. Obviously had variable powder charges as some went bang very sharply and some a very soft pop that just barely pushed the round out the end of the barrel. I am going back to Winchester. The few more bucks gives you a lot more quality. I am giving the rest of the unfired Magtech away. Very bad experience. Been shooting for 30+ years. Worst performing ammo I ever put through a gun barrel, that came from a factory..

Half of the rounds fired very powerfully and sparks could be seen coming out of barrel and chamber. Some rounds fired fine. Good shot group.
