This .22 LR ammunition from Remington comes in a huge bulk priced 6300 round case (12 boxes of 525 rounds each) that makes the already-inexpensive .22 LR even more affordable. You’ll really have to work at using up this much ammo!
Each cartridge fires a 36 grain brass plated hollow point bullet suitable for both target shooting and varmint hunting.
Remington Golden Bullets are manufactured in Lonoke, Arkansas using rimfire-primed brass cases. These are the new and improved version designed to provide better reliability and accuracy.

this ammo is awesome, i had some jams, but that was mostly because i shot so much of it that it wouldnt feed good. but other that that no misfires and its acurate. overall, i will definitly buy this ammo again

I do have a question about the 36 gr. level of a 22 LR … would/could this be a better than average load for a hideout gun = to utilize as a self-defense weapon-load or would it be better to have a heavier load … I have used this particular ammo many-many times for squirrel hunting (I eat them) and correspondingly this gives me an excellent target practice venue under less than ideal (target-range) conditions.

would buy this over and over again, that is if i run out first

I have never had a problem with this ammo and since the 22 LR cartridge may-be my only option as an ammo of choice for self-defense — with a hand gun and/or a rifle – I would choose this particular brand over all others …

This ammo is decent but is has a lot of failures to fire due to primer not igniting. About 1/10 to 1/20 won’t fire.

So far so good with no disappointment.

Bought these for my new Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I have had a few FTF in the first 500 or so rounds, running through my Ruger BX-25 magazine. Don’t think I have had any in my Butler Creek mags yet, steel lips of course. Overall, good bang for the buck, literally.

After shooting off 350 rounds in my Walther P22, I am very impressed that all rounds fired successfully… Unfortunately, after a mere 100 rounds, the barrel started smoking so much that the range safety officer came over to inspect the situation. After seeing the box of ammo I was pulling from, he just nodded and said, ‘yeah, that’s why..’

I would not depend on this ammo for self defence. I believe it has too many fail to fire and fail to feed. Im not trying to sell ammo but for self defence I would use CCI ammo. I have fired untold amounts of CCI with no fail to fire or fail to feed. JMO

I usually get 2 or 3 failure to fire rounds out of a box of 550 rounds. This is acceptable to me and the ammo is as accurate as the more expensive CCI in my opinion. This is my 22LR ammo of choice.

We have shot around 500 rounds and have been pleased with each round. I definitly will order some more.

I have purchased a couple bricks of this ammo. I have a Browning buckmark that I shoot pretty regularly. I have found that this particular brand doesn’t seem to load well and will occasionally misfire. I will have about 1 failure to load with approx. 20 rounds. (about 1-2 per two magazines. I will have about one misfire every 30-40 rounds. I don’t have problems with more expensive ammo, but you get what you pay for and these were cheap so it’s an aggravation but wouldn’t keep me from buying more as I just use it for gross target shooting.

By far the most reliable of the several different brands of bulk ammo we’ve tried in our 22/45 lite. Shoot about 250 rounds a week.
