The epitome of the American classic hunting round, made by one of the stalwart members of the ammunition producing community, in a round that has been made famous over the years as a reliable hunting load. Time to get reintroduced to the CoreLokt Remington .30-30 Winchester round in 170 grain weight projectile load.
A proven entity in the big game arena over the past nearly 125 or so years, the Winchester .30-30 is kind of a big deal. Remington has been producing the round for nearly as long as well. But it wasn’t about who first came to market really. It’s all about who do the seasoned hunters trust to produce the ammunition that works in their rifles in the fields when the difference for performance could mean their family didn’t eat meat that winter. They inevitably chose, and still choose this timeless green and yellow box that says Core-Lokt on it. Remington has produced a winner that perennially gets picked for those discerning hunters who can’t afford to miss that one shot a season. This round is suitable for lever actions and any other platform that accepts the .30-30 Winchester round and is purpose built for moderate range hunting of big game in North America.

Been using this ammo for years in a Marlin 336. Shoots to POA, never a misfire, many feral swine joined their ancestors from 50-75 yd, will even render big ones if hit in the shoulder, where they’re pretty well armor plated. . . .

Good for bears for like 50yards but 3 dollars per round during Chinese epidemic which soon prices will go down because of high demand and they will make more of it

got these from here in 2021 when nobody had them and priced right 30.30 has been losing ground in popularity but for hunting in the woods its perfect. the Remington 170 grain will bring home a freezer of meat and defend the castle very constant performance in my marlin 336 lever action or my model 70 bolt action groupes at 100 yrds 2 to 3 inch will it go farther yes iv gone 175 yards all in a soso yet deadly group.
its a heavy bullet go with a 150 at over 100 yrds but this is the hog round
