Serbian ammunition manufacturer PPU or Prvi Partizan was founded over 90 years ago, and they are still producing some of the best and most widely used Com-Bloc rounds in the ammo market. Since 1928, Prvi Partizan has made quality ammo for customers at affordable prices. But most of their popularity is derived from manufacturing rare calibers. They have produced the 8mm Lebel, 8x56mmR, the 7.92×33 Kurz, and many other rare loadings. They offer many civilian options and multiple ammunition types for military forces worldwide.

This ammo functioned & performed well in my M1a. However, I had problems with the casings “stove piping” in my model 700 LTR. This has occurred multiple times. It appears to me that Nato brass cases were utilized which I understand is slightly thicker than Winchester 308 casings. I suppose this is what they refer to by “heavy walled”. I would not recommend this ammo for rifles with “tight” chambers.

As the previous review posted, reliable chambering is not this ammo’s strong suit. The specs on this ammo seem to be just at the limits for my KA SR25 and Adams arms rifles. It did work reliably in my rem 700 but that rifle has a less then stellar chamber. It does group well for budget ammo .

My mossberg mvp scout consistently shoots 2 in groups with this ammo. Really fantastic looking brass. Just picked up more of this great stuff. Don’t miss out!

I have used PPU ammo for years and have never had a problem with a misfire or jamming because of this ammo. I do look for the cheapest price since I love to shoot and usually I find quality, price and performance with this brand.

Good grouping, no duds.
