Most modern 30-06 ammo features pressures that are too high to be used in an M1 Garand and are instead designed for a modern bolt action hunting rifle. This makes it a great choice for CMP rifles. Each cartridge in this bulk priced case of 200 fires a 150-grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,745 feet per second; this lower velocity reflects the slightly reduced pressures of M1 spec ammunition.

The ammo turned out to be rather impressive. I have a WWII era M1 Garand and it loves this ammo. The ammo burned pretty clean and shot very consistent and accurate. I have went through 200 rounds and no feeding problems, hangs, jams, etc. I highly recommend this ammo for use in an M1 Garand. I plan to buy more in the near future.

Ammo is accurate I was shooting 2 inch groups with my Garand at 100yrds on a black shoot and see Target on a black backer (had trouble aiming at the same spot at 100yrds) at 50 yrds groupings were 1 inch and smaller. As for reliability out of the 100 rds I have fired I had 1 failed to fire. my M1 Garand seems to like this ammo and I will buy more in the future

This is fantastic ammo. Out of my M1 it averaged 2800 fps and there was no big deviation between shots. And I have bought privi brass for years for reloading, always good stuff.
