Prvi Partizan makes plenty of obscure cartridges at their factory in Serbia such as 8x56mmR, 7.92x33mm Kurz and 7.65x53mm Argentine. But when you just want plain Jane 308 Winchester ammo for all your whitetail hunting and boar busting adventures, consider PPU your go-to!
This cartridge’s 180 grain bullet is just sophisticated enough to get the job done right. As a soft point, it is nearly entirely surrounded by the gilding metal jacket it requires to avert deformation in the barrel and plunge deeply into dense muscle tissue. But because the soft point’s lead core peeks out of the tip of its jacket, the bullet is also able to produce the broad terminal expansion which fells a quarry quickly.
PPU is often mistaken for a Muscovite ammo maker, but they’re actually located over 3,000 miles away from Russia. Instead of steel cases and Berdan primers, they load virgin brass cases and Boxer primers – the two reasons why this fine nonmagnetic medium game ammo is nonmagnetic.

I’ve been using these rounds for a couple weeks. They have been consistently accurate. I’ve had no failures or malfunctions with them. I’m looking forward to using them this deer season.

It ran through my SIG AR10 beautifully, my gun is a little bit finicky. Good grouping at distance.
