You might not want to use a 410 Bore shotgun to compete in the Olympics. But if you’re just trying to get a better handle on your favorite garden gun by using it to shoot trap or sporting clays, then you couldn’t choose better ammo for the job than Winchester AA!
This target load holds a half-ounce pile of #8 lead shot. It’s hard shot, and therefore able to withstand acceleration to a breakneck velocity of 1,300 fps without becoming too flat to pattern evenly. This max dram shell really shows you just how far the 410 can reach!
Winchester’s AA wad reduces two things: shot deformation, and recoil. Not to suggest that the 410’s recoil is earth-shattering, but less is always better in our book. Once you’ve emptied out an AA shell’s hull, you have a perfect foundation for a handload. And if you’re looking for neat-o plinking ammo for your S&W or Taurus 45/410 revolver, then you’ve just hit the jackpot!

These are my favorite .410 load. If you shot an autoloader don’t buy anything else !
