This 410 Bore shell by Fiocchi is loaded with half an ounce of #8 lead shot. If you’re going on dove or quail detail with a shotgun or a revolver like the Smith & Wesson Governor, then this shell’s approximately 200 .09” diameter pellets are going to give you the spread and power you need to take your game with relative ease. (If you’re using a Governor, hunt quail with 45 LC for the definitive test of shooting skill.)
Fiocchi’s first rate shot is chilled to imbue it with superior hardness, which lets it maintain its spherical shape as it rockets through your firearm’s bore. That lets it deliver a consistent and accurate pattern with every shot, an ability bolstered by this shell’s even spreading cushioned wad. This shell’s propellant burns clean to keep your shotgun’s or revolver’s innards clean and in working order, and its primer is sensitive enough to always accept your firing pin’s instruction.
Matthew –
Shot one round in SW Governor and it seized the gun. Tight fit and expanded after shot. Had to smash gun on a tree to open the chamber. Beware the size is larger than expected vs other shot shells.
