Looking for some of the hardest-working 22 WMR varmint hunting ammunition on the face of the earth? Then you can never go wrong with CCI, an Idahoan manufacturer that is more or less synonymous with high-quality rimfire-primed ammo!
This round’s bullet weighs a standard 40 grains, so it’s set to clear a rifle’s muzzle at a velocity of 1,875 fps. The bullet’s 0.114 G1 ballistic coefficient means that it won’t even think about undergoing transonic destabilization until it is well past 100 yards. The jacketed hollow point bullet’s rigid metal exterior promotes steady feeding in all types of firearms (including semi-automatics). The JHP’s nose cavity supplies the rapid terminal expansion that kills shortly after impact. It’s a complete bullet for varmint hunting, and not remotely inappropriate for plain old target shooting, either!
CCI’s rimfire primers are famously dependable, and their propellant is formulated to minimize fouling and conserve accuracy. Each of these brass-cased rounds is neatly packaged in a clear plastic box – much more satisfying to open than ammo’s usual cardboard packaging, in our humble opinion.

Purchased to test/fine tune a project I recently completed. Very happy with the ammo, shipped fairly quickly, could the price be better, of course. Overall very happy with purchase & I’ll be looking for more soon.
