Ever wondered how fast you can use up 5,250 rounds of .22 LR? Here’s your chance to find out. Grab this bulk priced case of .22 LR ammunition from Federal and go target shooting or varmint hunting. These cartridges fire a light 36 grain copper plated hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,260 feet per second, delivering deadly expansion against small game such as squirrels, rabbits, or groundhogs. This ammo is also cost-effective enough to be used for target shooting.
These cartridges come packaged in ten boxes of 525 rounds each. They are loaded in Anoka, Minnesota and use rimfire-primed brass cases. Federal is a division of Vista Outdoor (which also owns Speer, Bushnell, and many other notable shooting brands) and one of the top ammunition manufacturers in the US.

HAVE SHOT SEVERAL THOUSAND ROUNDS THROUGH MY S&W 15-22 AND HAD ONLY 3 HANGUPS AND ONE MISFIRE, ALSO VERY ACURATE UP TO 100 YARDS. NOT BAD FOR A .22
Henry –
I have shot 10000 to 15000 through my Henry lever, remington 597, and 10/22 and i love them. I have found only a few rounds that is that that a little hot or a little slow, but the are the best for the buy. As for the price on this websit, it is only a few dollars cheaper for the bulk than the local gun shop.
Deadeye –
I have blasted through over 10,000 rounds of this ammo at the range and it is good quality for the money. Only a few jams or misfires, not bad for .22.
Junior –
I had a couple of misfires with it, but it was due to the condition of the Luger-style hand gun I rented from the range.

I have shot several thousands of round through my at-15 conversion and sofar no mis-fires or hang ups. I am very pleased with this ammo.
Howdy Hoosier –
I tested around 17 types of 22lr ammo in my H&R 929 revolver that is prone to failure to fire. Federal fires most consistantly. This bulk is handy & inexpensive. I also like the CPHP because it is cleaner in my gun & is hp in case I use it on squirrels.

Bought on sale here at Bulk Ammo for $0.0426 each including shipping. Even Walmart can’t beat that price. After a couple thousand rounds through two different rifles, no misfires and no hang ups at all. Will be back for more.
Diesel –
So far so good with the ammo. Nice clean no issues
M4CARB –
Ammo runs good and clean thru any .22, including cans.
Davonwav –
Having thrown 1000+ rnds downrange this is without question the most reliable at this price point out there. From S&W 15/22, Ruger 10/22, & High Standard Citation 103 U.S. Issue not one single FTFire at all. It is not quite as accurate as CCI but very close. Highly reccomended!!
Tommy –
Ordered, and received shipment very timely. Product is exactly as advertised. Bulk Ammo is a great company.

I have a Ruger 10/22 and used this ammo to break it in and it misfires on every other one. Tried to use it after I broke it in and still have problems, either does not load, and eject correctly
Nomad –
Had a couple of missfires and jams with my converted Sig P226 shooting 1000+ rounds. Also very clean shooting ammo.
bigred –
i hunt year round, i havent found a type of ammo that out shoots fed. all year long. its one of the best. in my opinon this is the best thair is .
bigred –
these are the best ammo i’ve ever shot. i hunt 7 days a week all year long.
JC –
No problems with this ammo. Good deal. Delivered quickly

After a remington 22 shell busted the ejector in my 22 from a serious overload with powder I was sugjested to this ammo and man am I happy. Rarly ever a jam I think the reson people have jam and misfires is beacuse of an unclean gun beacuse this ammo has almost never jammed, mabey after 500 in one day of straight shooting but other than that this is the bomb!
Ken –
What else do you need in .22 ammo. Shoots great and easy on the wallet.
Roger –
Federal Blue Box 525 is simply the best for most uses. My Ruger pistols and rifles just never have issues with Blue Box. You can pay more but I am not convinced that you can do much better than this .22 ammo.

I’ve fired probably 21000 rounds of this through my ruger by now and each pack may give me like 10 jams/duds/failures. I’d say that’s pretty good for bulk ammo. I can get a pack of this ammo for about $18 at my Walmart when I can find it in stock. So its good ammo but I’m not sure this is the best price,

What do you expect when you pull the trigger? Bang! That is what I get.. Shoots well and clean in most all of my 22’s. That’s all I ask.. Yes I would recommend it to anyone. Good Value.

Better price than Wally World! Shot great in my SR22, no malfunctions and a lot of fun.
PaulK –
I have tried many different .22LR rounds, but I keep coming back to this Federal round. I don’t get misfires, it’s fairly clean and I can consistently hit a golf ball at 100 yards with my CZ-452. From now on I’m sticking with it!
Not happy –
Bought a case based on all the good reviews. Accurate, clean but won’t cycle my Buckmark reliably. Switched to a bit hotter round (blazer) and the gun runs perfectly. Maybe I’ll try this stuff again after I’ve put a few more thousand rounds thru the gun…..
DAVEAND4 –
Good for running a lot of rounds through your weapon without making a lot of mess. Copper coated reduces lead build-up.
Steve –
Only shot a couple hundred rounds so far, had a couple catch when feeding, bullets are a little rough or not seated straight. Not complaing for the price, loaded in my revolver no problem. Only one didn’t fire after 4 hits.
Seany –
I bought a couple boxes of 525 rounds of this ammo to try it out and was hoping that it would be cleaner because it’s brass plated and turns out it is so much cleaner than other 22 lr’s. It’s also very reliable, maybe 1 jam in several hundred rounds. I like it so much that I just bought the 5250 set.
Eros –
This is pretty good ammo given the price. It is fairly clean and feeds/fires well out of my Ruger SR22. It is very accurate. I have had a few failure to feeds, but mainly only once the gun gets dirty after a few hundred rounds of this going through it. As long as the gun is clean, these feed and fire nicely. The only ammo that is better are the CCI mini-mags, but they are of course a lot more expensive. Yep, this is the best bang for the buck for 22lr.
Rando –
I have used this ammo before in all my 22s. It has been as reliable as the premium ( and therefore, more expensive) ammo that I’ve used. My GSG 1911 is fairly picky with ammo, but I used a box (525 rounds) from this purchase and had no failures of any kind. No complaints here!
nick –
I be a plinking all day long. feeds and fires great outta my SW M&P15-22. Good price and super fast delivery.
vicfred –
I have a Ruger 22/45 and have shot 1000’s of rounds. The Federal 22lr h/p is by far the superior product for use in this pistol. Winchesters hang about 10% of the time but Remington’s hang easily 20% or more. out of a regular 10 rd mag, I can get off 2-3 rounds b4 jam, remove get 2-3 more jam again with the Remington.
Bumper –
Use it for my CCW class performs well
Thom –
I use a lot of .22LR for training to save money and being able to order it in the quantity available from Bulk Ammo saves me time and money. No going to the store when the opportunity to get some range time comes up. Order arrives several days after you place it. The ammo performs superbly and the cost per round is easy on the wallet while allowing me to get the required number of rounds downrange to maintain peak proficiency. Nobody does it better than Bulk Ammo. Nobody.
Bill –
I have fired 4500 rounds through my Browning Buckmark 5.5 Light. So far I have only had one FTF (failure to fire) and two FTE (failure to eject). I tried Winchester and Remington ammo but the FTF and FTE rates were in the 8% range. Consider a round of steel challenge was 125 rounds and 10 of those were FTF and FTE yoiu see why I changed and why I love this ammo. I was a bit surprised at the difference in the results because usually Buckmarks are not real choosy about what they eat.
whitestang07 –
As we all know it’s been difficult to find ammo. I bought 5,250 rounds hoping that they would at least be “fair”. Far better than I expected. Accurate and clean. Shot a few hundred already with only 1 misfire.
Roy Hauer –
Been using it in my Ruger Security 6 Convertible as well as my Securty 10, no problems. Use it in my Ruger M7722, and its super accurate. Put a bunch through my Ruger 1022 and my S&W AR-1522 and it works flawlessly. Out of perhaps a 1000 rounds or more I had one that FT Fire.
Marcus –
I have fired more than a thousand rounds of this ammunition in my Ruger SP 101 and have yet to have a failure to fire. I love this ammunition!
Lawrence –
I purchased 5250 rounds I am using this ammo in my semi-automatic Ruger 10/22 and my bolt action Marlin 22 so far I have not had any problems with the ammo I will be purchasing this again

FTE rate >50% in S&W M&P 15 22. Tried it in a Ruger 22 pistol. Same result. Used CCI ammo in the same guns immediately after with no problems. Wouldn’t use this ammo if you gave it to me!
Kenneth –
Problem with FTE and FTF was with my M&P and not the ammo. Once I had the gun problems fixed I have not had any problems with the ammo.
Gunner –
These rounds are exactly what advertised with the occasional FTF the ammo is worth the purchase price. I usually like higher speeds but just for plinking you cannot beat them!
Waltherppqm1 –
Bought a case and have shot 4 of the 10 boxes. I use this ammo in a s&w m&p 15 22, ruger sr22, Savage Rascal, s&w m&p 22 compact and full size pistols, ruger 10/22 and a Walther ppq 22. I have had only 2 FTF’s. Ammo is pretty accurate out to 200 yards on a 8 inch steel plate. The price is good for today’s prices but still miss the days of $15 a brick price. Will buy again from bulkammo!
Sal –
My victory target pistol eats it up and my 1022 likes it with only a few ftf and fte
Jack –
The ammo runs very clean for .22 lr ammo, my ruger .22 charger does not seem to like it i get a lot of failure to ejects running this ammo in that gun but never had a fail to fire. All in all i would say this is good ammo my gun might not like it that much but it doesn’t cause enough problems for me to not enjoy myself at the range
Don –
No FTF, no more residue than most brands I’ve used, very reasonable price, and bulkammo.com did the usual great job of filling my order quickly and reliably.
Frank –
Fire around 400 rounds each range visit with no issues in the GSM 1911…have 3 10rd clips and rapid fire these bad boys with no FTF and cleaning is a breeze with little residue. A great all purpose round for the money. Have tried other brands, some good, some not so good, but this Brand is the preferred when available.
Nathan –
I bought a case of this ammo. I have shot about half the case and have had a few failure to fire and minimal feeding issues. I use this ammo in the Ruger SR 22 and M&P 15-22. My kids shoot ALOT. I just bought 2 more cases if that tells you anything. Good price, 4.4 cents per round shipped to my house. I’m sure I might find some cheaper if I wanted to spend some time searching the internet. My time is valuable, as is yours. Good ammo, very fair price, super quick service. What are you waiting for?
Accounting lady. –
I have used this brand of ammo before and have always been extremely satisfied with its performance. Your company provided prompt service and a good product at a good price.
Rich –
My modified SW Victory did not do well with these. Switched to CCI Standard Velocity my buddy had on the range and they worked great. Giving him the rest of the box as they worked fine in his 22 rifle
Doplerone –
Have tried a large variety of .22LR, of all I’ve shot, these perform nicely in rifles and pistols. Had a problem with my Sig Mosquito.. but it turned out to be a flaw in the magazine. All I will stock now are these Federal round.
The Erp –
This ammo works flawlessly, in all my 22s. Price is good! Will order again
Bill –
Shot over 100 rounds out of my Glenfield at my 100 yd target. I was lucky to hit the paper. Switch ammo brand I’m hitting a 4” target at 100 yards. Same ammo just jammed in my Glock. Switch brands works great
Joe –
From five star service
Michael –
70% or more wouldn’t reload my Kimber 22LR Target Pistol
Slide hangs and has to be manually cleared. Fires OK, just not enough power to cycle the gun.
Other brand worked OK
